Bias, Ethics, and Action: The Role of the PR Practitioner
For Ethics Month, NCPRSA presents a very special coffee chat. Three Accredited African American women to share PR Ethics Code applications and sentiments on the topic of bias and ethical issues that our country seems to be challenged with right now. Companies are apologizing publicly for slurs and inappropriate behavior and cancelling brands in the name of being racially sensitive, but is that the answer? We will explore a deeper call to action as we look at how to make ethical and moral calls for you, as a PR practitioner, to look within the company to counsel, train, and take action to change the culture of your establishment while you externally crafting messages of support for your company.
