The Public Relations Society of America is the nation’s largest association of public relations professionals and among the world’s largest associations of communicators. Its tag line is Advancing the Profession and the Professional. Since 1967, the North Carolina Chapter has helped set the standard for excellence in all aspects of the profession.

NCPRSA provides leadership, counsel, understanding, networking and educational growth opportunities for those within the profession and to those who may need public relations services.

  • If you are working in public relations or in the broad field of communications and are not an NCPRSA member, we invite you to look around our site, sample some of our networking and professional development events or give us a call. We’d love to share with you how professionals working in agency, corporate, government, military, faith-based and non-profit organizations benefit from their membership in NCPRSA.
  • If you are seeking public relations services, we can help you refine your search for the best fit for you. PRSA also maintains a speaker’s bureau of senior counselors available to news media, civic and other professional associations who can address the public relations side of current events and issues.

September Virtual Coffee Chats

We’ve got a great lineup this month to help you sharpen your skills and give you the chance to network with your PR colleagues! Join us Friday, September 11 when we discuss what cool things people have been working on during this pandemic. And mark your calendar for September 25 when NCPRSA presents a very special coffee chat featuring three Accredited African American women discussing PR Ethics Code applications and sentiments on the topic of bias and ethical issues that our country seems to be challenged with right now.
