He began his 20 year career in creative roles at Gateway and IBM before joining Red Hat, where he spent more than a decade building the company’s brand story and voice, most recently as the Sr. Manager of the Brand Communications + Design team.
Jonathan often leads storytelling and brand voice workshops around the country for client organizations and for the American Marketing Association. He’s a past president of AIGA Raleigh, the professional association for design, and is currently the host of the Raleigh chapter of CreativeMornings, a popular monthly lecture series for creatives. Jonathan is an obsessive music fan. Has a religious devotion to short sentences and the serial comma. Loves travel photography, reading, running, and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
