Witz Communications, a B2B tech PR agency, is looking to hire a Public Relations Account Coordinator. We are seeking an organized and professional candidate to join our smart, energetic and incredibly witty team in either the Oakland, California, or in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, office!

As part of the on-boarding process, all Account Coordinators will participate in an in-house training program throughout his or her first three months of employment. This program provides new Account Coordinators with the foundational PR skills to build a successful career at Witz.

Account Coordinator
The Account Coordinator is responsible for maintaining key client information including editorial calendars, press and analyst lists, speaking opportunities and deadlines.

The Account Coordinator is expected to:
Learn, observe and be mentored in high-quality PR practices
Provide administrative support to account teams and internal teams as directed
Research and refine press/analyst contact database; update matrices
Conduct research via the Web
Compile briefing books, coverage reports
Draft blogs, articles, case studies, press releases

The requirements for the Account Coordinator position are as follows:
A bachelor's degree in a related field (public relations, marketing, journalism, communications)
Minimum one year work experience
An interest in technology
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational capabilities
Eagerness to learn from experienced mentors
Positive attitude
