You love telling good stories and you have a relentless need to get the facts right. Not only are you a great writer and storyteller, but you dash off a blog with the same ease that you craft a compelling message for a Power Point slide. Whenever and however you are communicating, you have a good grasp of your audience and know how to reach that audience in the right way.

Use research, reporting and interviews to craft effective messages and stories.
Create engaging content for Lottery corporate communications, from media releases, newsletters and annual reports to websites and social media channels.
Produce presentations that engagingly and convincingly share the lottery’s story with others.
Produce photos and videos to share Lottery news and information with the public.
Provide communications support for Lottery marketing and special events.

Four year college degree, preferably in communications, journalism or marketing.
One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in communications, journalism or public relations.
Advanced presentation software skills, such as PowerPoint or Prezi.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Interviewed candidates will be asked to submit a portfolio of their work (media releases, newsletters, presentations, and stories or articles) and will complete a writing assessment.

Hiring Range: $57,162 This exempt position will be filled at or near the posted salary
