The Corporate Communications Senior Manager partners with executives to plan, develop and execute internal communications strategies and tactics to engage employees and support business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

Drive internal communications strategy for business segment, advising leaders and influencing colleagues.
Develop annual, comprehensive communications plan and related deliverables to support business objectives, increase employee engagement and influence culture.
Write and edit error-free content that aligns with key messaging and complies with corporate standards and AP Style.
Create memos, talking points, scripts, videos, PowerPoint presentations, etc. for company leaders, helping them achieve engaging messaging and an effective cadence of communications.
Apply departmental policies and processes to optimize communications for business segment.
Manage intranet, including publishing content.
Job Qualification
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or relevant formal academic / vocational qualification; degree in communications, public relations or journalism preferred.

Previous experience comparable to 8+ years in communications or marketing in most or all of the following areas: internal communications, external communications, executive communications, media relations, corporate positioning, branding, digital media/web/video.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, including proficiency in AP Style.
Experience planning, developing and executing strategic communications for business segments, functional groups and/or companywide initiatives.
Proven ability to work effectively with senior executives and establish and maintain productive relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Strong planning, organizational and project management skills
Ability to work independently, make good decisions and apply sound judgment
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with a quality product
Demonstrated attention to detail
Ability to negotiate outcomes with management and external vendors
Proficient use of appropriate technology tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, and content-management systems.

May require minimal as-needed travel (under 10%)
