About the Position:
The Corporate Internal Communications Manager will manage and implement global strategies and initiatives for internal communications that drive the perception and position of PPD. Target audience for the position are internal global employees.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include supporting corporate-wide communications efforts, developing executive messaging and helping plan employee outreach events for leaders.

Writing and editing company wide internal communications
Producing content for company’s intranet, including news articles, opinion pieces, videos, infographics, etc.
Participating in planning, communications and/or content development for corporate events
Developing talking points, scripts and/or PowerPoint presentations for company leaders
Working with highly confidential information, adhering to company and department policies and SEC and AP guidelines
Applying creativity to develop new approaches, methods and designs for internal communications
Ideal candidate will have corporate experience, familiarity with content management systems (ie: SharePoint) and strong writing skills. Any graphic design experience is a plus!

Job Qualification
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification; degree in communications, public relations or journalism preferred.

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8 years’ in communications or marketing, with experience in some or all of the following areas: internal communications, external communications, Web content, media relations, corporate positioning and branding and integrated communications/marketing programs) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Web content writing experience
Strong experience in corporate and/or product branding and positioning
Proven experience developing integrated communications for internal and external audiences
Well-honed proactive and reactive media relations knowledge and skills including news release development
Demonstrated initiative and managerial experience
Proven planning, organizational and multi-task project management skills
Demonstrated attention to detail
Ability to consistently work well with others and negotiate for optimal outcomes
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with a quality product
Demonstrated business maturity and professionalism
Understanding of working within corporate structure for approval processes
Proficiency in application and adherence to AP style guidelines.
Proficient use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
