The Digital Content Producer takes a leading role in developing and executing content ideas from planning to completion, reporting to the Director of Content Development and working with colleagues in the Office of University Communications and communications professionals within campus schools and units.
The Digital Content Producer will create stories that reach key constituencies of the University and positions it as a world-class research institution, supporting the University’s communications strategy. S/he will create video, photography and written digital and non-digital content by researching, planning, creating, editing, organizing and posting those stories.
As a senior content professional, the Digital Content Producer serves as a key resource to others on campus with both digital and non-digital communications, establishes and maintains standards for digital products and employs creative and innovative ways to tell stories. S/he will develop and manage projects from start to finish, sometimes working independently and other times with a team. Using data analytics, the Digital Content Producer will evaluate the effectiveness of various strategies and provide ideas for content opportunities.
