Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a full-time Marketing Communications Consultant. Do you want to take the next step in your communications career? This position will play an integral role in various communication and event management projects, working with a global marketing team based in Morrisville, NC; King of Prussia, PA; and Belgrade, Serbia. You will play a key role in ensuring our global team is informed and motivated and will apply best-in-class public relations and marketing techniques to engage multiple audiences and help grow our brand and reputation in the marketplace.

 On-site position highly preferred in our Morrisville, NC, headquarters office (Candidates in the King of Prussia/Philadelphia, PA, area will also be considered)
 Position begins ~Nov. 1 and will last 3 months
 Full time: 32-40 hours per week
 Reports to the Director of Global Internal Communications
 Hourly compensation
RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily tasks will be split among internal communications and event management and logistics, and may include but are not limited to the following:

Internal Communications + Employee Engagement (~50%)
• Ongoing collaboration with the Director of Internal Communications related to goal setting, strategy and planning for internal communication campaigns.
• Drive and assist with the execution of various aspects of internal/employee engagement campaigns to maximize their impact, including:
o Developing and maintaining an internal communications calendar
o Overseeing project management for various employee engagement initiatives (managing timelines and vendors, developing written materials, brainstorming ideas, tracking metrics, and performing other tasks as assigned)
o Supporting the ongoing development (researching, drafting and editing) of various internal communications messages and announcements as assigned and playing a key role, specifically, in the development of creative and concise newsletter and intranet articles, infographics, Q&As, and other content to educate and engage employees.
• Conduct competitive research to help us refine our careers message to bolster recruitment efforts, including supporting content on career platforms, such as our website, Glassdoor and LinkedIn, and generating new ideas and partnering with the HR and recruiting teams to support their marketing efforts.
• Partner with senior executives and key departments in the company, including marketing and HR, to strategize and deliver communication that supports key corporate initiatives.
• Oversee the regular creation and submission of employee-related content on our social channels, in partnership with our digital marketing team.
Event Management + Logistics (~50%)
• Ongoing collaboration with the Senior Manager of Events and Marketing related to tradeshow and event strategy and planning.
• Manage multiple aspects of tradeshow logistics and support, including:
o Coordinate show registration and housing recommendations
o Order show services through conference vendor, such as cleaning, electric, carpet, etc.
o Track and maintain inventory of trade show assets (displays, structures, pop-ups, signage, marketing materials, etc.)
o Maintain an accurate, updated trade show calendar
o Coordinate and ship exhibit, on-site literature and promotional items and manage inventory of promotional items
• Research, recommend and execute logistics for external Worldwide events, including:
o Event venues for Tier 2 and Tier 3 off-site events
o Event activities at both VIP events and Worldwide events
+ Performing other duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in marketing communications (internal and/or external) and event management in a corporate or agency environment
• Educational concentration in communications, public relations or journalism preferred
• Demonstrable knowledge of marketing communications best practices
• Strong writing and editing skills are required (samples will be requested)
• Excellent organizational skills a must, as well as the ability to multitask and “manage up”
• A strong and proactive communicator, who is unafraid to share ideas and take a creative approach to problem solving
• Professional demeanor and energetic personality
• Video editing, photography or design skills not required but are a definite plus
• Ability to work within a team, as well as autonomously with minimal direction
• Deadline-driven with a keen sense of priority and follow-through; Demonstrate ownership on all assigned projects and follow through on all phases of production
• Candidates must be able to collaborate on projects, take direction and manage workload in a timely manner. The ideal candidate would demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment.
