Job Description

The Department of Strategic Communications at Elon University seeks to hire various part-time instructors, for online and/or in-person classes, for Winter Term (January 2021) and Spring 2021 semester (February to May).
These appointments are part-time, non-tenure track, and with no guarantee of renewal. Our classes happen, throughout the day, either M-W-F, for 70 minutes each class, or T-TH, for 100 minutes each class. We also have a few M-W afternoon classes, for 100 minutes each class.
Courses include but are not limited to: Public Relations and Civic Responsibility, Strategic Writing, Strategic Research Methods, Strategic Campaigns, Media Analytics, and capstone mass communication courses (which require a primary research final paper).
Candidates should have professional experience in strategic communications industries/fields. A master’s degree is required. A Ph.D. is a plus.
