Job Description

Seeking a public relations account executive. The right candidate will manage public relations programs; pitch national, regional and local media outlets; develop press materials; and manage creative and digital projects. Candidates should have three to five years of public relations experience.


Contribute to the development and execution of public relations and integrated marketing plans
Create press releases, pitches, client backgrounders, fact sheets and other press assets
Utilize online technologies, especially social media
Compile and maintain media lists
Monitor and report on media coverage
Develop and manage schedules for multiple clients and deliverables
Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing communications
Communicate directly with clients on a daily basis
Traditional and digital creative project management


BA/BS degree in public relations, journalism, marketing or related field
Three to five years of public relations experience (agency experience is strongly preferred, but not required)
Strong writing skills
Proficiency with online medium including social media
Experience with direct client relations/communications
