Call for Speakers: 2026 NCPRSA Strategic Communications Conference

Theme: In the Eye of the Storm: Navigating Crises in a Rapidly Changing World

The North Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA) is now accepting speaker submissions for our 2026 Strategic Communications Conference, “In the Eye of the Storm: Navigating Crises in a Rapidly Changing World,” a can’t-miss event for public relations and strategic communications professionals of all experience levels.

The conference will take place on November 20, 2026, at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Consistently drawing more than 100 participants, this is your opportunity to share your expertise, educate others on emerging trends, and share best practices and techniques. Rated “extremely valuable” by industry professionals each year, this conference is known for its engaging, dynamic speakers who lead sessions on the latest trends impacting the PR and communications profession.

This year’s theme is In the Eye of the Storm: Navigating Crises in a Rapidly Changing World, where we will dive into the ever-evolving PR industry and discover how technology, culture, and industry trends are impacting our field. This year, there will be a dedicated student experience track for up-and-coming professionals in the field.

Topics will include:

Student Experience Track: Building the Professional Pipeline
Truth Under Pressure: Communicating with Integrity in a Crisis
Media as Watchdogs of Democracy: Have Journalists Fallen Down on the Job?

Build on these or add yours to the mix. Breakout sessions will be 30 minutes in length. There will also be two keynote sessions, running 50 minutes each.
