Account Manager

What you’ll do:
- Lead day-to-day execution of client communications programs
- Translate strategy into clear priorities, timelines, and deliverables
- Serve as a primary client contact and build strong working relationships
- Manage project flow across internal teams and external partners
- Oversee budgets, billing, and scope to ensure account health
- Develop and oversee client-ready materials, such as plans, reports, messaging, and presentations
- Identify insights from reporting and adjust approach accordingly
- Contribute to strategic planning and communications plan development
- Spot opportunities for organic growth and support business development
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in marketing, communications, public relations, public affairs, advertising, journalism, English, or a related field
- Four-eight years of strategic communications experience with a focus in public affairs, public relations, and public engagement
- Experience writing communications plans, talking points, statements, and media relations materials
- Understanding of how paid, earned, shared, and owned channels work together in an integrated strategy
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills in fast-moving environments
- Experience with media relations and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams
- Familiarity with measurement and reporting

Hours & Location
- E&V is a hybrid work environment. We encourage all employees to find the balance between remote and in-person that works for them.
- The E&V office is located at 421 N. Harrington St., Suite 520, Raleigh, NC.
- Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
